Hi Cheryl.
You haven't heard anything from me for a few weeks but I haven't stopped searching for your Graydon.

The Clinton Middle name is the best we have to go on and I've just come across this at Rootsweb which may help.

http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=blackman-farmer&id=I167381

John Clinton Graydon b 1830 and he has a son Henry Clinton Graydon b c, 1869.

I don't know whether you have seen this and whether you have contacted the person but if not it's worth a try. Repetitions of middle names using signify a tradition and perhaps this could indicate your Graydon family.

Let me know any follow up

Very Best Regards
Keith
