I believe that my ancestor, Matthew Graydon of Laurens County, was the brother of Thomas Graydon. The only information I have beyond them is something that an aunt of mine wrote about 40 years ago. It states that a Sterling Graydon came to Laurens County as a surveyor about the time of the Revolution. I don't know where she got this, nor does anyone else in our family (she died not long after that). I have never been able to find any proof of that. I do know that there are many Sterling's in Thomas' descendants, and there are Starling's (with an "a") in Matthew's descendants.
My email is PeeryDean@aol.com
