Dear Desmond,

You are correct. My great Uncle Ben was named Benjamin Franklin after his father.
He invented the Gravely motor plow and manufactured it in Nitro, W.Va. for many years. He continued to patent parts for it
for many years after he didn't own the factory. He also owned the Gravely and Moore Photographic Studio in Charleston for a good many years and he patented a number of photographic peices of equipment.
Did you know him personally?
