Germaine (Gravel) St. Pierre - obit

Lewiston - Germaine B. St. Pierre, 91 of Lewiston, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011 at St. Mary's d'Youville Pavilion. She was born in Stornoway, P.Q. Canada, August 19, 1919 the daughter of the late Alphonse and Arthemise Dupuis Gravel. She was the second youngest of 12 children. Germaine was the widow of Gerard H. St. Pierre who died in 1969. She spent many years in the grocery business in Lewiston and in banking in Connecticut. She was a great cook and enjoyed a good time with family and friends. She is survived by 4 daughters, Joyce Acheson of Chelsea, Joline Mooney and husband Dr. Robert Mooney of Laconia, N.H., Linda Smith and husband Frank of West Gardiner and Sonia Roberts of Lewiston; a son, Ronald St. Pierre of Poland; 3 grandchildren, Marcus Niedner and wife Devon of West Gardiner, Tanya St. Pierre of Poland and Andre St. Pierre of Utah; 4 great grandchildren; a brother, Herve Gravel of Harpswell and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 10 sisters and brothers.
