Francois-Xavier-Alfred (Alphege) Gravel was born on 20 Dec 1853 in the parish of Immaculee-Conception, St. Ours, Richelieu County, Quebec. He was baptised there two days later. He died on 7 Nov 1914 in St. Francois-Xavier parish, Vercheres, Vercheres County, Quebec. He was buried there two days later. He married Elodie-Eulalie Gagnon, daughter of Abel Gagnon and Domathilde Robidou (Robidoux), on 18 Jul 1882 in Notre Dame Catholic Church, Southbridge, Worcester County, Massachusetts. Elodie-Eulalie was born in Mar 1859 in Quebec. She died in 1912 in Worcester, Worcester County, Massachusetts.
