Ignace-Onesime Gravel (Ignace - Euphrosine Feuillion/Fillion) married Marie-Louise Renaud (Jacques - Marie-Louise Cloutier) on 9 February 1847 at Chateau-Richer, Quebec. Source: parish records of La Visitation Catholic Church, Chateau-Richer, Montmorency County, Quebec; volume 8, page 129, marriage record #8 in 1847; available on LDS FHL microfilm #1018163.
Ignace-Onesime's father, Ignace, born 6 November and baptized 7 November 1794 at Chateau-Richer, was the son of Joseph-Simon Gravel who married Genevieve Cazault. You will find Simon's lineage at Phyllis Nordstrom's Gravel web site at http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/n/o/r/Phyllis-J-Nordstrom/GENE36-0001.html Simon and Genevieve are family group #106 on page 36-0023. From this couple, you can work your way back to Joseph-Masse Gravel and Marguerite Tavernier, the first Canadian generation of famille Gravel.
