I am seeking information on my Gravelle ancestors, I have A.M. Gravelle (who I think is Alexander Moses) in Ontario Co. New York in 1850, where he became a naturalized US citizen, he came to Michigan in 1854 where he stayed. He had several children one of whom is Delia who married George Rosevelt in Montcalm Michigan. A.M.'s wife is Anna Crandall (her name is variously mispelled all over the net as Amma and even Ammy). I would like to know who A.M.'s parents in Cananda were and where he came from. I did find a publication transcribed on-line from an old Michigan county history that said, erroniously, that he came from "Montreal, Ontario". Any information would be greatly appreciated.
