Hi Pierre!
Sorry about the SERIOUS delay in getting back to you - where has the time gone?!?

I don't have a Marie Robin dit Lapointe, so I suspect the Pierre Foucaults you have are different people - if they married in 1790, that would have made him 19, which is certainly possible, but not the norm for marriages at that time. Where did you find this marriage? - it should indicate the parents' names.

I have Pierre marrying Marie-Charlotte Sarasin dit Depelteau on 17 Oct 1796 in Ste-Therese, Quebec. He is indeed a descendant of Urbain Foucault - here is the lineage:

Jeanne Rossignol dit Grossonneau (Great Grandmother)
b. from Rambouillet, Chartres, France
d. 22 Jan 1712, Hotel-Dieu, Quebec City, Quebec

============================================================

The surname has many variations, and coupled with the dit name (which is sometimes Urbain, sometimes Foucault, sometimes Fouquereau...), this makes research a little more complicated. This line was a brick wall in my research until I discoved the Urbain surname. But now the Gravel line is a problem.

Anyways, I hope this helps! Take care!
Martin Lacoste
