Pleased to hear from you. Sorry to say that I have not conducted much research on the Decker lineage so not for positive who parents of Mary might be. However, willing to bet she is connected to Joseph Decker,Sr born 1770-1795 that was in Harrison county 1820 and 30.
More than curious about your Henry Grass and his family, have nothing more than his marriage date. Certainly enjoy having whatever you are willing to share as I am more than intersted in all of the Grass families.
Searched for Henry over the years, but nothing found to which I could place him in the family. He was the son of Daniel and Elizbeth Brown Grass who are my 4th great grandparents.
Probate papers of Daniel Grass who died 27 Oct 1855, reflects that son Henry was to receive $13.23 1/4 along with some of his other sibs, so Henry must have still living in 1855, but no idea where. Have always assumed he moved from Indiana as did several of his sibs. Might you know where he went?
Certainly understand your feelings upon finding the grave of your George Grass, such an event is thrilling.
Several years ago made the trip to the counties of Harrison, Crawford and Spencer. Didn't find what was wanted, but didn't walk away empty handed.
Have sent for the new Harrison History With Families that was published in 2005, if nothing else it will be an interesting read.
