John Grant, d.1797 Pittsylvania Co. VA married Anne Irby, b.1768 Halifax Co. VA

Does anyone have any information on the parents of John Grant whose will was written 7 Feb 1797 and probated 20 Feb 1797 in Pittsylvania Co., VA? I have seen Jasper Grant who died in Halifax Co., VA in 1803 listed as John's father, but have seen no documentation.

The date I have seen for his marriage to Anne Irby is 1794 in Pittsylvania Co., VA. She is listed as Anne Grant in her father's will (Peter Irby) written 25 Dec 1794 and probated 16 Feb 1795. I am not sure of the 1794 marriage date as John lists 5 children in his will and this would mean John and Anne had 5 children in 3 years. I have not found documentation for this marriage in Pittsylvania or Halifax Co.
