I am hoping to find descendants of Jane (Jennie) Grant who married James Anderson. Jane was born about 1864. She was most likely married to a Grant before marrying James Anderson from England. In the 1900 census they are living in Nanticoke Borough in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. They have been married about two years and have two children with the Anderson name: William and Barbara H. Anderson. Also living with them are: Mary Grant, Murray Grant, Catherine Grant, Jennie Grant, and James Grant. I think that all of these children were Jane's by her first marriage. By 1910, the Andersons now have two daughters, Martha and Mildred Anderson, and Catherine/Katherine Grant, Jennie Grant, and James R. Grant are all living with them, as is James father, William Grant, who was born in England about 1837. My husband's grandmother was Barbara Anderson, a sister to James C. Anderson. I'd love to get in touch with descendans of this family.
