I show a William Grant b.1781, son of Alexander Grant b 27 Feb 1758 Georgetown, Lincoln (Maine?), m. Abigail b. 17 June 1760, Old York, York County, ME, d. 29 Dec 1832. Alexander was Head of household in Penobscot during 1790 census. Head of household in 1800 census. Came to Penobscot from Old York. Also show a William Grant, father of a Alexander Grant who was b. July 1724 Of, Berwick, York, Maine. This Alexander m. Mercy Grover abt. 1756 Berwick, York, Maine. This Alexander's parents were William Grant and Abigail Kennard, no dates for William but Abigail Kennard b. abt 1698 Of, Berwick, York, Maine. They were married 26 Jan 1717 Of, Berwick, York, Maine. Children were Alexander, Abigail, Mary.
