George Grant married Margaret Avery in West Lydford, Somersetshire, England. They first came to NY, later to SaukCo, Wisconsin, finally settled in DeWitt, NE. Their children were #1 James A. Grant (b-1842); #2 John G. Grant (b-1847) married Amelia Carey...their children were Ernest A. Grant; Daisy Maude Grant; George W. Grant and Eddie Grant....
#3 George E. Grant (b- 1853..) married Helen Buss: #4 Isabelle M. grant married John Woodhouse; #5 Ann U Grant married John McCabe; #6 Charlotte Grant. Please contact me direct elaprice@aol.com... These Grant/Avery families connect with James Avery who married Susanne Barratt back in 1817...Need info to add to the Barratt family history.
