B. M. Grant (circa 1938) engraved..Related?

I recently bought an antique (circa 1938),
with "B. M. Grant" in script engraved on it.
I was told this was one of U. S. Grants descendants.
I sort of doubted it, Does anyone know of a B. M. Grant?
