I've posted about my great grandfather here before but now I've found a little more information regarding him. Though now I've hit another road block as there is no 1890 census records, this is what has come from the 1870 census records if anyone knows of a link between this child and my great grandfather it would be greatly appreciated:
Houlton, Aroostook Cty, Maine 1870 Census.
Father: John Grant, age 49, born in New Brunswick, works as a Carpenter
Mother: Julia A, age 44, born in New Brunswick, keeps house
Son: Harrisson age 15, born in Maine, attends school
**Son: William C. Grant age 6 months.**
William grew up to marry Jessie Roberts, and then her sister Sadie and by each woman had two or three children.
