Richard Grant / Rebecca Benedict of NY

I am trying to trace Richard Grant (b. 1783, NY) and Rebecca Benedict (b. 1787, NY). My wife is descended from their son John Benedict Grant (b. 1804, NY), who married Sarah Weed Seely/Seeley from Stamford, Connecticut.

Richard and Rebecca may also have had two other sons Nathan and Alexander, although I've only seen that in an unconfirmed reference.

John Benedict Grant and Sarah had six children - Rebecca Louise, Amariah Jehu, Ann Eliza Miller, Amaizi S, Neuman, and Luman Augustus. My wife is descended from Neuman (b. 1843), who married Arabella Nicholson (b. 1846, NY).
