Hi Cheryl,
I believe that we may be looking for some of the same people. My ancestors are as follows:
Adam Grant Sr - Born 26 Jan 1819 in Creich, Sutherland, Scotland. Married Lucinda Everett on 15 Sep 1865 in Oxford, Ontario, Canada.
His parents were Donald Grant (christened 21 Nov 1784) and Mary Ross (christened 08 Jul 1785 in Tain, Ross & Cromarty, Scotland).
Donald's parents were Robert Grant (married 30 Nov 1783 in Dornoch, Scotland) and Isabel Forsythe (christened 03 Dec 1758 in Resolis, Ross & Cromarty, Scotland).
Mary's parents were Donald Ross and Henreta Ross. I don't know where from, or what years.
I don't know if you are familiar with Scotland, but Moray and Sutherlandshire are quite close together. Adam Grant Sr and his wife Lucinda lived in Princeton, Ontario, Canada (but I am not sure when they emigrated). I do know that Lucinda's parents and grandparents all lived in Ontario, but I have no information on Adam Sr's parents, other than the fact that they married in Scotland.
