In response to your search for information regarding the Grant Family of TN and Ohio, I have reason to believe the Jacob Grant you have listed is my Great-Grandfather. The daughter, Susan, who was born in Darke County, Ohio is my Grandmother. Her Mother was Elizabeth Wooten. At some point in time the family did live in Paducah, KY. As I remember my Grandmother's speaking of it. My father was born in Campbell county, TN in 1906, to Susan Grant Meltabarger and Pleasant Nicholas Meltabarger. My grandmother's family tree information is limited and I am without dates; however, her father, Jacob, had brothers named Jerry (?), John, and Jesse and a sister, Mary. Elizabeth Wooten Grant had two brothers; John and Enoch. My grandmother had brothers named William (Willie), John, and Jesse and a sister named Sarah Grant Pyles.
