He was a brother to Joseph Barnett GRANT and George Washington GRANT. His father was Joseph E. GRANT. He married Sarah SCARBOROUGH. Could there be a connection? Crawford County is contiguous to Monroe County. I wonder if your Thomas Jefferson GRANT could have been a brother to Joseph E. GRANT?
