I am currently researching the Grant family. These Grants are from Cromdale area: Grantown on the Spey near Abernethy Bridge. I have an alexander Grant (1814-1895) who married a Mary Fraser (not sure of the date) but the children are Jennie, Alexander, elizabeth, John F., annie, Peter, and Fred. There may have been more children. They immigrated to the U.S. around 1888. and settled in the Chicago and Detroit area. I would be happy to send you the family tree info I have on them. Also I have a newpaper clipping when Alexander, Jr. died in 1925 in Sarnia that has info about his birth, etc.
Let me know your e mail and surface mailing address. if you are interested.
Good luck.
Marge
