Hi Peter, My name is Paul Young. I hav been working on the Grannmen family information for over 5 years now. My Great Great Grandfather Carl (Charles) was born in Hille and came to the United States in 1850, and his brother Heinrich came here in 1840 and both settled in Fort Wayne, Indiana. From What I can find Carl and Heinrich fater name was Carl and was born around the 1780's. I have not been able to trace the family back and futher due to the lack of contacts in the Europe area. If I can be of any help please feel free to contact me at retiredtar1970@aol.com. Good luck in you search.
