hi susan,
thanks for your help in the research of frank granger. the info that you found i already have except for lavera davis being servant. i have talked to one of george's daughter, the only still living. what i'm trying to find out is who was frank's wife. francis can't be the mother of victoria and george. i have the marriage license for them, her name was morning francis carter, lived in johnson county ga. victoria granger married shug morgan who is my great-grandmother. i victoria's death cert and have looked at george's and there is not name for the mother. have been told she was a soles or souls. her name was victoria also. any help will greatly be apprecated since this has got me at a dead end.
