I'm searching for more information on Robert (born c1815) and Eliza (born c1820) Granger who were born in England and immigrated to the US around 1860. The 1870 Illinois census shows (thank you again Susan!):

Post Office: Braidwood

Robert GRANGER, 55, no occupation, $450, $340, b. England
Eliza, 50, keeping house, b. England
William, 20, coal miner, b. England
Mary, 14, at home, b. England
Keziah, 5, female, b. Illinois
