Just reporting to any who may be interested -- my quest has now gone on for over 40 years; and although John A. Granade's manuscript journal still hasn't turned up, a copy of his Pilgrim's Songster has. It's a previously unknown second edition, printed in 1812 (five years after his death). And I just won the eBay auction for it. So, one of these days, there may be an update about the Wild Man. Stay tuned.
