Grainger Family Genealogy Forum

Yes Chris, she was married to John Grainger Sr. We know this due to the fact that my husband Paul Grainger is a direct descendent of his....Is your connecton through John Grainger Sr? Who do you have going back to early 1700..? I have not been able to go beyond John because of the lack of information I have been able to find on him. I have a birth date of 1755 for him but it doesn't work out with any other information...You have 1760 as a birth date...where did you get that? Is is proveable? Proof is very important to me when I am going to put something in my tree. I read of so many people having trouble with information in there tree because of just taking someone's word for it...I have only been working on my tree for a year now....and also on Paul's tree (The Grainger's) It is pretty hard trying to do two or more at one time...actually I have been working on 8 surnames and it is tough...I would like to know where the family connection comes in...who is connected to who....Which Grainer's from Horry County are you related to. I will be glad to share my information with you but please tell me a little bit more about you and your side of the Grainger's first. What part of Horry County is your family from...Paul's is from the Spring Branch area. Please answer back as quickly as you can. I get so excited when I find a family connection to either Paul or my side of the family....I have found 16 cousins that I did not know I had through this message board, some are very distant and one is a second cousin and I have found two of Paul's. I love Genealogy now that I am dong it.....Lois
