I have a John Grimes/Graham married a Sarah on Jan 25, 1785 in Rowan Co.NC.John died Oct. 06, 1827 in Nashville, Davidson Co. TN.Have never found out the real last name of Sarah.I also have that his parents were Richard Grimes /Graham born about 1725 in Scotland or Va. & married to an Asenth.Richard died in 1801, in Randolph Co.NC.
There were 9 children in Richard's & Anseth's family; one of this John's brother would have been a Thomas.THOMASis the one I am trying to find more info on, for my Thomas was born 1747, Stokes Co,NC.I think it was a different county for that date.I am hopeing this Richard Grimes/Graham is the correct parent.Do you have any info?
