John J. (J. J.) Graham Inquiry
Dear Graham Forum,
I may not be in the right family for this posting, but would like to post for any follow-ups, if out there.Preferably, would be looking for father and mother, but any descendents would be nice to have as well.
John J. (J.J.) Graham, b. 23 May 1819, NC (could be SC as well),d. 24 Apr 1879, Marshall, Harrison, TX, buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Marshall.
Married: to Dilly (Delila)Ann Alice Powell, b. 8 Apr 1825, Twiggs County, GA, d. 29 Sep 1902, Schley, Harrison, TX, buried same cemetery as J. J.
There were 15 children from the marriage; Emma, Dilly Ann, Margaret, Mary, Joseph, Daniel, Hugh, Alpha, John, Martha Clara, Caroline, Seaborn, Wesley, Allan and William (I think thats all!)
John and Dilly were my g-g grandparents on my maternal side of the family, Newtons. Emma was married to my g-grandfather, William Haywood Newton, Sr; thus, Jr. and his daughter, Gladys Norene Newton.
If there is anyone out there that can relate, please let me know.
Thanks,
Ware Ullom
