It is a possibility that LeRoy was a family name.I don't know much about that side of the family, am trying to find info or leads here.I do know that it was a popular name (either first or middle) for many of the men in the family.I suppose it could be a woman's maiden name that was used as a middle name for her son, as I have given my youngest son my grandmother's maiden name as a middle name.Nicholas Graham Swogger.
My dad's mother is Mary Glendine (Glenny) Graham b.3-15-1922 m. Robert Charles Lolley b.2-5-1921 d. 5-19-1970
her parents were
Robert LeRoy Graham b.9-29-1890 d.4-26-1963
m. Edna Gilford Graham b.5-6-1898 d.4-26-1979
his parents were
Jerry Graham b/d??
m. Katherine Whitmer Graham b/d ??
Edna;s parents were
??"Bus" Gilford b/d??
m. Amanda Richardson Gilford b/d??
My grandmother was born in Clarion County Pennsylvania and I believe her family to be from there and possibly Venango and Butler Counties in Pennsylvania (all three are western PA) as well.
Let meknow if any of this fits into your family line at all.
