Daniel Graham - Butler Co PA - Civil War Service - MIA
Recently I was reading the History of Butler Co Pennsyvania with Illustrations done in 1895. I was researching a Graham connection.
I found a reference that Daniel Graham son of Alexander Graham and Elizabeth Rainey as it says in the text "Daniel who died at Wilmington, North Carolina, through long confinement at Libby and Andersonville prisons". Daniel served in the 11th PA Res Inf (40 PA Vols). I found some information on the Internet that indicated he as missing in action at the battle of Bethesda Church May 30, 1864.
Daniel was born abt 1835 I believe.
I was so intrigued. I wanted to know if any one could confirm this. I would love know when he died and at which prison. These Grahams are connected to my Steen family.
