Kelly, I have been trying to find out what happened to my great Aunt, Martha Ann Wharton.Martha was born in Shelby Co., Al about 1839. She married John Tinsley Ketchum-11-9-1854 in Newton Co., Ms. John died from wounds that he received in the Civil war about 1866. Martha took her children and moved to Collin Co., TX. before 1870 with her parents, Jesse and Martha Acton Wharton. She was listed as Marth Kitchen in the 1870 Collin Census. On May 28, 1871 she married C.R. Graham in Collin Co., Tx by minister J.C. Garrison. On taking a second look at the Collin Co. census I found a Christopher Graham living neghibors to the Wharton family:
1870 Collin co. TX. Plan P.O M593-1579 page 473 sheet 30 line 18 # 175/177 Sept. 2,
Christopher Graham28Ms. farm labor

I am pretty sure this is the C.R. Graham that my Martha Ann married. Can you tell me more about Christopher and what happened to him and Martha after they married? Thanks. Ruby
