Graham's, Greenock, Scotland and America
I am trying to trace James Graham born about 1814 in America and his son Donald Graham born about 1864 also in America. Who apparently emigrated to Greenock, Scotland.
Both appear to be registered as blind, presumably this means "partially blind", since the occupation of James the father is given as a General Labourer and that of Donald as an Apprentice Rivetter.
It appears that James married a Margaret Mitchell resident in Greenock, but born in Glasgow and had two Daughters, Elisabtt and Margaret. Prior to this Margaret had a son, Neil Mitchell.
By the time of the 1881 UK Census, the whole family are to be found resident at Millers Pend, Session Street, Dundee.
Can anyone help please ?
