Maurice you seem to have a lot of info so I am hoping that you can verify a few things for me. I have traced back to Robert and Lydia Gragg and further and was hoping you might be able to verify my info. I am new to this and want to add that I had a very hard time and if you have additional info that would help, I would be most appreciative. I have only got names and dates along with spousal names that applied to my case and are from the male lineage:

James William Gragg died 1984 (my father) married Emma Irene Winkler

Willis Gragg born Sept 19 1900 died Mar 1 1975 wife Bessie Higgins Rutherford County

William Hugh Gragg Born Cocke County Tn. died in 1933 Rutherford Co NC married to Martha Almond

Lewis Franklin Gragg born Sept 10 1857 Haywood NC died April 2nd 1925 wife Harriet Clark (some records show Louis)
I believe he also may have been born in Cocke Co.

George M Gragg born 1807 Cocke County Tn died 1880 married to Mary Polly McMurtry

William Gragg born 1775 died 1793?? seems too young married to Anna Smart

Robert Gragg 1732-1796 married to Lydia Alice Harrison

John Gragg abt 1689 or 1690 died 1758 married to Nancy Ann

This is where we go back to Londonderry Ireland although we are of Scottish descent. I have more information than this but thought I would see if this helps first..If you have received any information that in turn might help me, I would be most grateful for it.
