Hi Ken,

I did order the book on the Grady family and read up on all the lineage that you speak of, but unfortunately, I just couldn't find my descendant, John Grady, born 10/15/1802 in Rowan Co., NC (now Davidson Co.) in there. He married Nancy Briggs in 1822, in the same Co. They moved to Adams Co., Il and he died there on 04/21/1882. His son was James Monroe Grady. One cousin, Sam Jones, thought this line of Gradys were Irish and came through Delaware or Penn. We just don't know for sure. I do thank you for your input though. Teri
