Among my father's postcards are two as follows
Ref RVG 2 WW1 Ohrdruf Hospital, Germany Oct 1916. Photo positive (printed on blank postcard stock) The image shows 4 British POW’s in hospital ward, 2 in bed 2 seated. The notice boards above each bed have (1) Hedges and (3) [Ian] Gracie]. The identity of Hedges and Gracie seem definite unless they pushed beds around etc. Ian Gracey & Hedges were not in RVG 1. Pencil written on the back of the card for Gracie Ohrdruf Oct 1916 Ian Gracie 2nd/Lt 2nd Royal Scots Fusiliers
Ref RVG 3
WW1 Lazarett Ohrdruf 19/2/1917. Photo positive (printed on blank postcard stock). This has been posted and has 3 different rubber stamps in 3 places. The image shows 2 British POW’s in hospital ward, (1)’s Identity is not known but is in RVG 4 photo, this mans smart military jacket might help identify him. (2)’s identity must be Gracie as in RVG 2, he is grasping the other for support to stay upright on the bed, He might be missing a leg.
Pencil written on the back of the card from Ian Gracie 2nd/Lt 2nd Royal Scots Fusiliers Lazarett Ohrdruf 19/2/1917
