William Gracy's burial site is about one foot east of the fire plug on Cookeville Boat Dock Road and Lakeview Heights Road. Jerry Arthur Allison of Baxter, Tennessee has identified the burial site of William Gracey born in Londonderry Ireland, died in White County Tennessee. His burial site was in White County at the time of his death on 24th April 1824.
William Gracey's son, William Gracey born 15 March 1804 in Londondery Ireland died April 26, 1824 and most likely buried in the same cemetery. This Cemetery has been reported to contain more than 100 graves with Sandstone markers. William Gracey's marker is still there. There was a tree that came up at the head of his grave about two years after his burial, but has rotted and fallen down since.
