sudden death of an emigrant.
on monday a russian emigrant from hamburg for new york died at west hartlepool. deceased, with his wife, three sons and one daughter arrived at west hartlepool yesterday,
deceased being in a weak condition. he was seen by doctor biggart, but died shortly before 9pm at the railway station. his name was grabouski and his age was 56 years.

the above named is listed on 'ancestry.com' as grabowsky.
note that emigrants from eastern europe sailed from hamburg to the port in the former town of west hartlepool and then onwards by train to other uk destinations or to liverpool and then on to america.
