Dear Marie, Thanks for the quick responce. I no written record of where he came from, but I was told that he may have come from Perlberg/Wilsnak Prussa. He was boarn 9 March 1842 and died 14 Sept 1920. There was no date, but I found an Austin County Marriage Record Draft, stating Sophie Loehr was his first marriage and resulted in 3 children Wallace Grabow, Amanda Grabow Thiel and Minna Grabow Grube born 20 Sept 1867. These dates were found in a book "The Cemeteries of Austin County of TX" put out by the Austin County Historical Society. The dates for his 2nd wife Anna Eble, his 2nd wife came from her Death Certifict. She was born 29 Feb 1858 and died 10 May 1931. Her parents were William Ebel and Fredericke Shultz. Christian and Anna are berried in Coshatte Cemetery near Bellville, TX. I will be macking a trip back to Bellville, in June or July to do some more research, but any help you could get for me would be graciously appricated. I live in Kingsville, TX, south of Corpus Christi. Bellville is my mothers home town. She lives in Houston. My e-mail address is saludlam@yahoo.con. If any one you know can give me insited, I will appricate it. The names mixed among this family are, Grube, Mahake, Koehn, Barder
