Rosa Francis Pearl married ? Grable in Bullitt Co., KY., sometime around 1873 or 1874. In Dec 1874 they had a daughter Mary Elizabeth Grable, Bardstown, Bullitt Co., KY.
in the fall of 1875 or spring of 1876 Rosa moved to Lewis Co., MO., to live with her parents who had immigrated there in 1874. She was pregnant at that time with the couple's second child Albert who was born in the spring of 1876.
Her husband did not accompany her to Missouri. On the 1880 Federal census Lewis Co., MO., she is listed as married, head of household.
Neither her obit nor that of her children give a first name to her husband he is simply referred to as Mr. Grable.
Can any one find a record of this marriage or a record of Mary Elizabeth's birth? I find many Grables in this area, but nothing to indicate who married Rosa F. Pearl.
