BERTHA LEVY GRABER, age 86, born in Galveston, Texas, on July 6, 1915, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2001. She was a resident of Houston for the past 25 years. She was the eldest daughter of Fannie and Lucian Levy and a graduate of the University of Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Harry J. Graber, and a grandson, Jeffrey Michael Graber. She is survived by her children, Allan and Miriam Graber, Ronnie and Charna Graber, and Susan and Albert Krovetz; her grandchildren, Cheryl and Richard Rosenberg, Jay Krovetz, Lisa and Joe Harkins, Jerald and Rikke Graber, Douglas and Lisa Graber, Chad Graber, Thea Graber and fiance David Clark; and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by her caring sisters and brother-in-law, Dorothy Versman and Sylvia and Morris Schultz, and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2001, at the Hebrew Benevolent Society Cemetery, located at 43rd and Broadway, Galveston, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 6161 Savoy, Houston, Texas 77036; The River Performing and Visual Arts Center, 1474 West Gray, Houston, Texas 77019; or a charity of your choice.
