Leonard,

Your ggg grandfather Saul was a brother to my equally great grandfather Mark, who settled nearby in Hot Spring, Co.
Mark moved from TN to Hot Spring Co, AR in 1848, planning to move on down to Union Co. where his mother Elizabeth Goza had moved,at about the same time, with his brothers Saul, Benjamin, and Peter. He got stopped by high waters about the time he needed to get in a crop for the year, so stayed where he was.

Saul moved to Dallas County, near to Mark sometime before the 1860 census. Elizabeth, the mother, moved to live with Mark and his family.

If you want more information on this family, let me know.

Geri
