Hannah Gower b1721, Maldon Essex?

Greeting! I'm new to forum and sorry but brought back a string that was a few years old. But yes... "Gowers in Maldon" are of some interest to me.

I'm trying to find information on my 5th Great Grandmother's side so that I have another area to look for Shaws further back. My trail has grown cold. The following information is known;

1 - Thomas Shaw married Hannah Gower about 1750... They lived in Tillingham, Essex and are on record in the Saint Nicholas Parish. Thomas remarried in 1755 to Mary Farmer.
2 - Hannah was born about 1721 and died 1751 shortly after giving birth to a son, Thomas (changed to William) Shaw. This child was the second to be born to the couple but possibly the first to survive.
3 - Hannah had at least one sister, Margerett "Peggy" Gower, whom it is believed never married. She died about 1821-22.
4 - Hannah's father's name was James Gower. He's believed to be from Malden. Originally thought Scotland, but could it be Maldon, Essex which is very close to Tillingham? James was a merchant.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much!!!
