Just back from Romeo/Richmond area. I met with Nina (Nine ahh) Jackman and she gave me a follow up on Elizabeth Gower. Seems I DID have my facts on her wrong and you were right.
Elizabeth Gower b. 10 Feb 1843; married Eli Woodward 9 Feb 1858. Eli's father was Casper Woodward mother, Sarah mdn unkn. According to Edgie Clubine & Lela Roos the Woodwards had a diamond mine in Australia
Elizabeth died 5 Mar 1868 in Whitchurch Twp., York Co., Ontario, Canada. She had one son, Augustus b. Jan 1859 died 23 Jan 1859. Mary Jane Woodward b. 1864 called Jenny; Elizabeth Woodward b. 1866 Both girls were raised by their aunt Mary Gilbert.
Have you futher information?.. Please email me if you do. I don't have present knowledge of any living descendants of Elizabeth or Mary Woodward.
Oh yes, Elizabeth Gower b. 1843 was the Ann Elizabeth who married Abraham Bellinger according to one of Nina's sources thou I can't see how being married at 15 ?? and dieing at 25 but this is the file I got from Nina and haven't researched it yet so don't hold me to anything.
