I have done very little research regarding my Gower ancestors, but I got as far back as my great grandfather, Gardner Hampton Gower, who married Martha Vien Williams in Trigg County, Kentucky. He was from Stewart County, Tennessee. I think Gardner Hampton Gower had a brother, but I only have his initials: A. G. Gower. They had a son, my grandfather, Joseph Abysha Gower, who was born on March 28, 1881 based on Bible records and marriage certificates. Any information about the Gowers who resided in Henry and Stewart Counties, Tennessee would be greatly appreciated.
