I am related to Emma Gower (Feb. 22, 1850 - Apr. 21, 1923)
that married George Washington Hulan(Nov. 9, 1848 - Oct. 5, 1937). My Grandfather told me that we are related to the Gower family that founded Gower Elementry School in Nashville, TN. The original church/school house was located on Gower Road just off Old Charlotte Pike in West Nashville. Emma Gower Hulan was my GGGrandmother. He mentioned Rev. William Gower and Katherine Gower.
