I'm new and need information - but - William Gowdy (born 1-4-1813 Clark Co.,Ohio and died Monmouth,Ill in 1876 had 2 sons with the middle name Scott.
I am searching for information on a Catherine Snavely Gowdy John (husband Lemuel John) 4-9-1832 born in Greene Co,Ohio to Rev. John Gowdy & wife Sarah Prudence Fogelsong. When and Where she died and most of all her daughter Mary E. John born 1857 in Xenia, Greene Co.,Ohio. I believe Mary to be my great grandmother. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Judi
