Hello Goudy/Gowdy family researchers. I am looking for the ancestors of a John Goudy born about 1772 in Lancaster County? Pennsylvania who died after September 19,1843 in Clark County Ohio. I believe he married Amelia Scott about 1794, then Ann Hatfield about 1811 and finally Nancy Davis? after 1811. Does he tie somehow with a John Goudy born July 1736 in Lancaster County Pennsylvania who died November 15, 1807 in Xenia, Greene County Ohio. This John Goudy was married to Ann LNU and then a Mary Breckenridge. John and Nancy Davis? Goudy's daughter Eliza Ann Goudy was born January 29, 1820 in Madison Twp. Clark County Ohio and married Samuel Buffenbarger September 29, 1837 in Clark County Ohio. Samuel and Eliza Ann Buffenbarger are my 2nd great grandparents.
