Do any of you Hugh Gourley researcher's know where the 100 acres of land that Hugh was granted in January, 1773,(he was part of the Rev. William Martin group, he arrived on the Freemason in December, 1772)was located? I believe that he may have been granted his 100 acres around Spartanburg, SC. Would like more definitive information. I am going to Columbia, SC next month to review the Colonial Journals pertaining to all of the land grants that the Rev. William Martin group received. They were not all in SC. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Gloria
