The George Schulze you are referring to is not kin to Elizabeth Shultz, the spouse of William Gourley. Many people have thought that including myself until I researched George and found out that he is not related to the Gourley family. Also, Thomas is listed as being at King's Mountain on in several journals. I have my sources for this. If you are interested in the source, please contact me off line and I will look them up for you.

Not sure if the Thomas in Chester is son. I do not think so!! All census records point to Thomas, the eldest son as being in Carter Co., TN. I have seen where his house was located.
