Dear Lisa,
Yes, Many generations back of course!
I am researching family tree connections with Johnson and Sisson connections. They are all in the Strelley Parish from the mid 1600s. It's spooky to think of this as at about the time of the "great plague".
My family disappeared from Strelley around 1850.
If you have anything I would be interested. The Goulders go back to the 1600s too!
Have you been to Strelley? The church of "All Saints" is lovely. The whole village remains virtually untouched because of its location and because it's a preservation area.
I look forward to hearing from you of course.
Celia
