I have an original Cabinet Card photograph of “The Four Gould Brothers”, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photo was taken in about 1895, and they look to be in their 30s-40s.

I found an article in a 1900 newspaper about Frank Jay Gould, with three brothers George, Edwin and Howard, of New York City. The family of father Jay Gould and wife Helen were in the 1880 Greenburgh (Westchester Co.) NY census, showing George (18), Edwin (15), Howard (8) and Frank (3). Father was a banker, and connected with the Missouri Pacific Railroad. I did not find the family in Westchester Co., NY, however – which is where the photo was taken. If having a scan of the photo would help, I’d be glad to send one.

Get back to me at margerice@prodigy.net if you are related to “The Four Gould Brothers”.
